Management Team

	Charles DeWitt, President and CEO – Charles has 20 years in the banking industry, mostly with SunTrust and its predecessors. Charles has experience in many aspects of banking including retail, commercial lending, credit, capital markets and mergers and acquisitions. He received formal credit training with SunTrust, a BS from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at LSU. Since 1995, he and his family have resided in the DeKalb community where he is involved with Northlake Rotary and is on the Board of Trustees for the Northlake Community Alliance.
	Larry Hunter, Chief Lending Officer – With more than 40 years of experience in banking and management, Larry’s vast experience includes lending, credit and risk management, turnaround of troubled institutions, and extensive real estate knowledge. Larry attended Austin Peay University, is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at LSU and is a licensed Georgia Appraiser.
	Wayne Byers, CPA, Chief Financial Officer - Wayne has 18 years of banking experience beginning his career with Prudential Bank, a former division of Prudential Financial, where he focused on treasury management. He most recently served over 8 years as Chief Financial Officer of an Atlanta based thrift savings bank responsible for all aspects of the companies SEC and regulatory reporting. Wayne received a BBA from the University of Georgia and a Master of Professional Accountancy from Georgia State University. Wayne is also a Certified Public Accountant.
	Patrick Putman, Senior Vice President, Director of Business Development – Patrick has over 15 years of banking experience. He was previously with SunTrust Bank and received formal credit training, gained experience in commercial lending, correspondent banking and managed several commercial banking offices. He currently serves as the Chairman for the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce. He received a BS from Auburn University and he and his family have resided within DeKalb County for 15 years.
	Charlie Hatcher, Senior Vice President - Charlie has over 20 years of lending experience, starting his career as a Management Associate at First Atlanta, prior to its purchase by Wachovia. Since then Charlie has worked with several highly successful community banks, most recently The Riverside Bank and its successor, Bank of North Georgia. In all instances, Charlie has grown and managed large loan portfolios comprised of all types of individuals and companies. Charlie is a 1986 graduate of Duke University.
	Heather Smith, Vice President, Loan Operations & Administration - With 16 years of banking experience in lending operations, Heather has had a wide variety of experiences with residential, commercial and consumer type loans. Most recently her experience was as the Vice President and Loan Administration manager of First Horizon Construction Lending. Heather’s extensive knowledge of loan operations and compliance, combined with her management skills, ensures the bank’s lending operations always run efficiently.
	Sandy Rieffel, Banking Officer and Northlake Branch Manager, – Sandy has more than nine years of branch banking experience with Heritage Bank in Jonesboro. Her experience will ensure that all aspects of your visits to our Branch are above par.
